FS: VW Golf GTi 2001

Evening all - I'm selling my beloved Golf GTi. I do far too many miles now (200 miles each day to work and back) and sadly a diesel just makes far more sense. I've bought a Passat now so Golfy needs to go!

I'll add more details if anyone's interested but thought I'd post briefly here in case there's any interest! Feel free to send me a U2U or post if I can help further.

* 2001 3 Door GTi Turbo
* Revo mapped.
* Heated Recaro leather interior
* Audi Anthracite grey Compomotive TT alloys
* As new Pirelli P6000 tyres (about 5 to 6mm of tread on each)
* 88k miles (car now not in daily use so shouldn't increase much)
* Full service history (all bar two VW, two VW specialists)
* Recent full service (800 miles ago)
* 6 Disc CD Changer in boot
* Stainless system (Sebring I believe)
* Private Reg WILL sell with car. It's Y18 TVW
* Full suspension change 5000 miles ago (springs, dampers, ARB's)

Car's in very good condition for his age but does have the odd stone chip or mark here and there. He's not mint but does polish up very well but please bear in mind the car's now six years old. I'm more than happy to answer any questions and provide photos.

I'm located near StoneHenge in Wiltshire. I'll happily provide my mobile to those interested parties.

Most valuations (realistic - not pie in the sky (odd phrase eh?) ) Value Golfy at about £5000 not including plate. This was bought at DVLA nearly two years ago.

Open to offers?

Many thanks all

Michael

Thanks Toady!

It was mapped with Revo's Stage 1 which is "said" to give upto 55BHP extra. The exhaust system would give a little too I suppose. It's the AUM engine in Golfy and potentially can gain much more than the earlier models.

I'd not stand up and guarantee what he might be running but it's a damn quick car now compared with what it was as standard.

People always seem to over estimate their BHP so I'll sit on the fence on this one! 150BHP as standard, plus Revo map, plus exhaust??

Thanks for the compliment Toady - Good luck in selling your KC! (Keep telling yourself you WILL get another. I still pine after mine!)

Many thanks
