Steering components for sale by sealed auction.

As discussed in this thread I now have for up for grabs the following items. Lets be sensible we all have a rough idea on what we want/need and how much we are willing to pay for it. If you're bid is lower than the current highest bid I will notify you so you can look elswhere immediately.
The rules of the auction are this.
1 The item is worth whatever it's worth to you and nothing else.
2 Payment by cheque which will need to clear before items are sent.
3 I have listed a postage charge for each item this should be included in your bid i.e. your bid is the final cost you pay including postage.
4 You bid by U2U to me and you are only allowed 1 bid any subsequent bids will be deleted.
5 This site and it's moderators will have no part in any disputes that arise. they are between you and me ONLY. (I do not forsee any problems happening and I am a reasonable guy)
6 Mark you're U2U's clearly on what you're bidding on please and remember, If you're bidding on all the items then there is NO GAURANTEE that you will win them all. You have been warned.
7 This auction will end at 6pm on Monday 28th July. If it's a success i will list more items after that. I have electrical and exhaust items still to come. But it will depend on how this goes. Good luck to you all.

So here goes on my first three items of steering parts
1 A sierra non adjustable steering column with both sides of the ign switch wiring present. THERE ARE NO STALK SWITCHES AND THE IGN SWITCH BARREL IS MISSING.(no shouting just emphesisng the facts) Postage costs £5.50

Sierra steering wheel complete with horn postage costs £5.00

Sierra downlink a bit rusty and the pinch bolts are missing (I'll give it a quick clean before posting) postage costs £4.20

Methinks your missing the whole point of trying something new
IMHO this method gives everyone on the site a chance of bits and pieces for their build. It's not a first come first served method, and for someone who has been frustratingly chasing a part, and may be willing to pay a bit more, only to miss it by timescale. I feel it may be a solution for them and a way of getting a better price for the seller. After all that's what auctions are getting the best price for your parts and the buyer being happy also.
At least lets give it a go. If it does not work then I'll go back to the old fashioned way.

Hi
I fully agree with this.
Good on ya for trying it.
I have been looking for a Sierra steering wheel boss for ages.
Bu**er me if one didn't go yesterday and I missed it, I would happly have paid more than it was sold for.

Fingers crossed this work's, so we can all get a chance at these parts.

P.S No sour grapes for not getting the boss. Well maby a little

David
