Faithfull ZX9 finally spits out its dummy

Finally killed the poor old Zed at Cadwell today, can't really complain, it cost me £200 and has suffered five years of abuse.
Its a bit like the sofa on men behaving badly, i'm kind of sorry to see it go.
Ah well iv'e got a chewed up conrod as a memento

Yeah bit of a shame really, seeing as it was such a nice day, and my first time at Cadwell.
What a cracking track.

Unlucky mate!

if you keep to a 9 it will make for an easy install, just swap motors - exhaust, plumbing, cables etc can all stay.

You could get it done before the end of summer with a bit of an effort.

£200 on a smiles per pound basis aint too shabby though eh!?!

i think you should put a zx10 or 12 in, and then let me know how easy it was to swap

That's bad news Al, sorry to hear it. Having driven it round Mallory, I can confirm it was a great engine. Are you gonna drop a bigger one in now?

Phil
