Recon crossflow wanted

Hi

Does anyone have a crossflow they're keen to get rid of? I'd prefer a 1.6+, but a well-cared-for 1.3+ might do. I'll be honest - I'm still planning, but if the right one came along....

Lo dood, If you don't have success with a 1.6 then I have a 1.3High compression with only 46000 miles on the clock.

Cheers

I've a 1300 with +0.40 overbore
Rebuilt 1000 miles ago with:
new crank and fully balanced bottom end
unleaded GT big valve head

Looking for about £350 for tall engine without any ancills, but also have Twin 40s and manifold for sale (£150)

Will supply with all above, plus both standard dizzy and lumenition for £500

Based in Reading. Engine will be in the car for another 2 weeks before being yanked out for a zetec.

Was giving over 80bhp on a rolling road just after rebuild, but that was with safe jetting and advance etc. (still using those settings so it's had a gentle running in period)

Sorry - found a x-flow (at last) on Sylva list

Thx for the reply - should have said I found an engine last week. Good luck with the sale, though.

Mark.
