Its not going to make much difference if you already have a pair of sidedraughts and they are set up properly.

I have zzr1100 carbs on my 2 litre pinto
and they are great.I have no experience
at all with dellortos so cant pass judgement on the bike carbs making
any difference.A couple of mates have had webber 40's on there cars
and complained of not being able to keep them in tune,so i opted for the bike carbs.
Now someone is going to tell me i am talking crap about keeping them in tune

Whereabouts are you in newcastle?

Andy.

Yep, dellortos and webers can't go out of tune as the jets are fixed. All you can change is the balance and idle mixture...

The man to ask is Dave Bogg the dad of Bogg Brothers he used to swear by webbers / dellortos untill bike carbs took over
Bike carbs only use the fuel they need
webbers pump the fuel in
unless some one knows better

I have just changed from twin 45 webers to ZX9R bike carbs on a 2lt Pinto and have immediately noticed a difference when driving (even thought they have only roughly been set up by hand and not on a rolling road yet)

The engine ticks over a lot smoother and the response is a lot better when you put your foot down.

I got mine as a complete set up from Bogg Bros. Not cheap at £550 but I feel that it is worth paying a little bit more from a company that knows what they are doing. Talk to Bogg Bros as they have the experience.
