Some Calipers please

Hey, just wondering if any1 has any xr4x4 calipers they'd sell me. The ones i hav (and paid 80 quid to be recond) are shit! When mounted to the hub theres only enough room for like a 200mm disc! the rears wont even fit. Cheers all, Jay

I have a spare pair of XR4x4 calipers as I have just sourced some uprated ones at a good price. These take a 260mm disc. They were working fine when I drove the donor which had only been MOT'd a couple of months before I bought it. I just cleaned all of the crap off them and painted them up. They just need a couple of dust seals to finish them off.

You can see nearside one in this pic http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/5Dscf0006.jpg

Don't know how much they are worth so if you are interested make me an offer.

Had a quick look in your photo archive and your rear uprights appear to be for drum brakes. The ones for disc brakes have the angled shoulder at the rear side cut awayto allow space for mounting the calipers.
