carbon fibre ducts

hi there i'm after opinions on carbon fiber ducts for the global i want to put one either side on the side pod and pipe them up to an airbox/ turbo intake.Still haven't decided 100% which i am going to go for when i rebuild the spare engine.Anyway has anyone used reverie or carbon modz parts
the two i'm looking at are these

http://www.reverie.ltd.uk/product_detail.php?prod=carbon_naca_duct_single_exit_58mm&group=A%20SCOOP&subgroup=A%20SCOOP%20NA&part_code=R01S E0009

http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products/Carbon-Fibre-NACA-Duct-50mm__CMNACA5001.aspx

currently i'm leaning more towards the carbon modz ones.Next question any rules to go with regarding sizes of the ducts and what not? i know there not locost but i think there going to look better than normal grp or fiberglass ones and there going to be on display.I could probably get them wrapped in carbon fiber but because of the shape i doubt they would come out well so i guess im after your opinions which is the better option

Reverie are based near me in Essex. I've not dealt with them directly, but have been in contact with them in the past about some items. Their quality is very good, but boy will you pay for it....

As for CarbonMods, I have purchased bits from them in the past. Quite helpful, reasonably priced, and quality is good from what I've ordered (sill protectors, NACA duct, bonnet scoop). Friends have also used them for Westy bits, and also gave good feedback. Their range of products has somewhat depleted over the years, but if they've got what you want then great.

There are a few other suppliers to consider though - there's a user on here who specialises in GRP & carbon bits, and from memory, Fluke Motorsport also offer carbon goodies.

Not proper carbon fibre but I used this duct for my intake. Looks decent as its real carbon matting and much cheaper than the proper carbon ones.

Try Carbonman on here. His work looks very high quality, and I have not heard anything but positive feedback from those who have done business with him. He has recently advertised that he is now selling NACA ducts in carbon, so well worth looking at.

ANother vote for carbonman - he made a bonnet buldge for me which is outstanding quality. Also met him in Soneleigh - top chap.

I think it's designed for a flat surface. My nose cone is curved but I got it to sit ok with a decent bead of sikaflex and applying weight when it was curing.

Definitely try CarbonMan on here if you want anything like this - although I know he's working away a bit at the moment so he may not reply to any messages as quick as usual.
