Sales Manager Position

Sort of LoCost related.
Looking around for a Sales Manager Position in the Motorsport/Car manufacturing type environment.
Its about time I actually got involved in a company where my passion is as important as my hard work.

Weren't Robin Hood's new owners looking for someone like this recently?

Might be worth a phonecall or a CV in the post.

RH - Two bob outfit - two bob salary?
U2U me your CV - I don't need you (nothing personal) but I may be able to give you a few pointers/contacts - I work in Automotive Design/Development/Production and have held engineering-project-commercial management roles: I'm also pretty handy at tweaking CVs!

Robin hood is the biggest kit car company by far with a multi-million pound turnover. From the info that was published when they were sold, I think they made 30% or 35% return on sales. Not exactly a 2 bob outfit.

Their product may be very inexpensive but if you want a job, you'll be more concerned with turnover and profit. No?

Sounds like RH need a good sales manager! If they have beefed up the product, rebranded and adjust the costs and prices then a sales manager should have an easy time of it. I bet the Skoda salesforce are a happy bunch and look where they came from.

Nowt wrong with RH's in their chosen sector. The main problem seems to be that the sector hasnt been well defined. All companies that offer cheap products always suffer from people with higher aspirations taking the bargain route then voicing their oppinions.

Go for it - you might just be what they need to make a difference.

Might not be much help but did you know that Top Gear's website now has a Careers Section? I got really excited thinking they wanted another stig, but it's actually for motor industry jobs.

Linky to Top Gear Careers Page

Hope it helps and good luck in the job hunt.
