Mondeo Gearchange Spring

Sounds daft doesn't it but my local scrappy can't help. I need the little lift ring spring that goes under the gear knob.

Any chance?

Is it a type 9?

There isn't a spring in mine. The rubber thing with the circlip on top supplies the springing for the reverse detent.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Its a remote gearchange so I'm not really sure tbh - but I am certain it comes from a Mondeo. Silver plastic lift ring connected to two 'pops' if that helps. Looks like a valve spring sized jobby that will drop over the shaft.
