Sierra CVH starter,
I'm looking for a Sierra CVH starter motor in working condition, anything out there?----Lucas LRS707?, so, to sum up, I need a starter to fit a
ST170 running a 1.8 mondo flywheel to a Type 9
Something different, Very different..............

starters from Sierra 1.8cvh , lrs 707 , granada mk3 twin cam 8v , scorpio twin cam 8v + others will all suit the standard zetec flywheels. You can
also space a standard pinto starter to suit ( about 16mm difference).
But there's also different solenoid locations and different size starter bodies . I found the bosch starters from scorpios were the smallest
most powerful ones and there solenoides didn't get in the way of the exhaust, but thats fitting zetecs to sierras.
Best bet is to go to your local lucas rebuild centre with some dimensions to get what suits your car.
I think this is the one i used last

I think you will find that the Valeo 1.4kw version is the smallest unit best suited to a Seven application.
