Wiper Motor Torque

OK locost's on hold for a while because i'm involved in this:

www.challenge.mod.uk

Does anyone have any idea what the torque of a generic windscreen wiper motor is?

If not, does anyone know where i con get a 30Nm servo motor cheap/free?

Cheers

Matt

no i cant give you a real figure what i do can tell you that the torque is available from the first rpm it makes...

sow it means you have got linear power

basic crap really...

saying that they are powerfull if taken from a big car (with allot of wiper lenght)

Tks

I'm going to measure the torque from a landrover one i reckon - I just wondered if anyone had a 'ball park' idea of the figure.

That's the specs of a Ford motor, best it magaed was 14Nm, but it's pretty small.

One from a car with long wipers should be a bit beefier, or maybe look at electric window motors.
