Windscreen hood seal on Westfield/Caterham

Hi All,

Looking to see how to seal the hood the the windscreen on my half hood I am making. I have to use Tenax fastners and not a bow.

So has any one got a few photos of the windscreen end of the hood from underneth of a westfield/caterham ect?

I want see how they weather proof it (i.e. seal to windscreen frame).. All the photos I can find only show the outside, not useful!

Thanks.

Dan

my westy had a u shaped channel that fitted tight to the top of screen frame.

there was a rubber strip along the top of the screen frame. then 2 press stud on the front of the screen frame.

drove that in some good down poors, never leaked. and i jet washed it never leaked.

I've got an old Westfield hood. Looks like it has a strip of towelling-like on the inside edge, but not any more :

Similar stuff around the doors too. Never driven it with a hood on, but it did't keep the rain out when it was standing on the drive, so wouldn't hold out much hope for keeping dry when it is moving
