side panel issue.... PROBLEMO.

ive checked out a million images of locosts but im stuck....

im trying to attach the side panels which ive cut out all the holes for the wishbones etc.

anyway.

im stuck now.



this is my front end.

the red ring shows the sticky out bit..

now what do i do with the side panel?

has anyone got any pics showing the cutting out etc?

most of the panels sit flush and dont have the cut out.

HELP PLEASE.

oh and let me take this post to say Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year....

Just notch round it - it sticks out on most locost as I recall...

Do you have your nose yet?

If you do, its simple, fit the nose & if it sticks out of the nose then you panel so it sticks out. If it doesn't stick out, panel so it doesn't stick out (and have a gap between the sticky out bit and the top chassis rail).

If you don't have the nose ..... panel so it sticks out and hope it look ok.

don't think u will get a nose to fit with the bottom rad hose routed like that either

Ye I have the nose cone. It is the same width as the chassis without the sticky out bits ....

I'll notch them out now I know I need to.

It sticks out on most cars. Blank the ends off though. This is mine.
