Which reminds me I must try and get my Aldi electric hoist fixed.
Tried it two days ago and it only buzzes and can be persuaded to run if the fan blades are given a push.

Needless to say the hoist was bought 1 year and four days ago

Luckily there is a 3 year manufacturer's warranty so I will phone them on Monday.

That seems like a very good price to me? The equivalent compressor in Machine Mart is £180.

It does seem like a decent price, I paid £40 for a 6 litre one and spend more time waiting for it to charge than I do actually using it!!

You did remind me that I need to buy the filter kit though, thanks.

Price is spiralling up, £59 in 2007, £69 in 2008, £82 in 2009.

When it was £69 you also had this little lot included in the package -

1 gravity spray gun
1 dip tube spray gun
1 tyre inflater gun with pressure gauge
1 air blaster gun
1 garden sprayer for wood stain etc
1 5m hose
1 10m hose

Obviously nothing fantastic but its been much better value in the past

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

As the prices have gone up so has the spec of the compressor. I got one of the original ones and its 1.5hp, I then got another (cause I wanted more power) and it was 2hp. These are 2.5hp.
