New Diffuser

Made some more progress on creating myself a diffuser and I'm after some feedback either good or bad.
Ignore the two ali bars it wont just be these supporting it from the rear, they are just there as spacers at the moment.

Can't really see the profile of the ramp, but there seems to be a bend instead of a gentle curve where the floor ends. Also the curve could start a lot further under the car.

You're quite right the curve should have been gentler and started further forward but in doing this it would have clashed with my fuel tank

In fact the reason for the diffuser is more cosmetic than aero, as I thought the rear of the car was spoilt by the fuel tank sticking out from the bodywork

Not just cosmetic then? It looks as though the bottom of the fuel tank needs some protection anyway.
And I like it, looks

Could you make the two outer sections higher than the middle one- it appears from the pic only the centre has an issue? It would give you an opportunity to make the majority of the diffuser a gentler profile. If your going to do the work it would be nice to get as much aero benefit as you can!

Your car is one of my favourites on here by the way- it looks great!

I could, but my main point for the diffuser was a to hide the unsightly view of the tank and if I was to move the centre plane lower down than the outside ones then I wouldn't achieve what I set out to do. I can appreciate people may think it's a waste of time if there's no aero benefit but I wouldn't even bother with one if the back end was tidier.

I think he was saying move the outer ones up, as it seems the main thing in the way is the protruding chassis in the centre.
