mk indy kit / deluxe kit

what is the difference between the 6pc fibreglass set and the 11pc fibreglass set does it include all the side and rear pannels if it does that would mean no use of aluminium ? so what is the weight difference is the fibre glass lighter / better than aluminium
thanks scott

I'm not sure about the MK kit and what you get for your 6 or 11 pieces. But the question about the weight was discussed a little while ago (maybe a month or so), probably in this section. Can't remember the precise outcome, but it came down to the thickness of the GRP whether it was lighter or not.

Have a look back through the history or do a search, not sure what you could put in the search box though.

I think the concensus was that fibre glass will not be lighter than ali in almost all circumsances, however, it does eliminate the need to paint anything if you want to have a solid coloured car.
