Thumbs Up Or Thumbs Down

Hi All....this is my first post so please be gentle.

I ordered my MNR Vortx a couple of months ago and i should hopefully pick it up some time next month.

The question i have for you is what are your opinions on having the chassis, rollbar/sidebars and pushrods etc powdercoated kawasaki green and having the bodywork white.....all coments much appricieted......don't hold back

Cheers Baz

Welcome to the mad house!

Green chassis and white bodywork sounds good to me. Not a lot of chassis work shows on the road so it won't be too much, but will look good and stand out on closer inspection.

No stupid questions on here but there's a lot that have been asked before (I'd guess this one probably hasn't) and the search function can answer many.

The only consideration might be that if you change your bodywork colour in the future will it clash with the green chassis? - or what you can see of it

oh and welcome

If you do get the chassis powder coated make sure you get it prepared properly first not just coated. The powder coating lifts off in sheets if not done properly

if you don't like the white at some time you can always use black or something like this:

Gray shows up chassis cracks best (I guess green would work as well), I would choose that in the future for piece on mind. Mine currently black, making it difficult/impossible to see cracks..

I would definitely give a Kawa green chassis a big thumbs up. Here is a build (not MNR though) I've been following that's using that colour scheme for the chassis and I think it looks pretty bloody good:

By the way, the photo shown earlier in this thread is from Brands Hatch, not Spa.
