Daniel,

Your build looks cracking.

Did you ever look at placing the original S2000 binacle above your steering wheel rather than in the middle of the dash?

Also, in such a modern take on the 7 marque, what about some more modern rear lights?

Still going to be fun when it's done!

tul214 . the clocks would not fit above the wheel due to the shape of the scuttle, unless i bought a different steering wheel, which seemed daft when i already hd the s2000 wheel! i did want it above but it was physically too big! i have tried to use as much as i could from the donor.
the colour is darker in real life than the pics make it look and i was going to put some lotus graphics on it like the f1 team colours!
as for the rear lights, i love these clusters and bought them direct from caterham! i do understand they aint that modern though

Racetech standard mounts. The ones that hold the fly screen/wind deflector on. Nervous things to fit as drilling those holes is so permanant!! I keep putting off doing the internal panals as they'll need some serious cutting to get past the rollcage (by your knees). Love the wheels you've got on there. At least your not a million miles away when we do get them on the road!

i fitted those race tech mirrors on my last mnr, they were easy to drill and fix through the aeroscreen, but have seen loads of roll cage mounted mirrors (no drilling required) and the rear view ones are 14" wide i think so rear visibility should be improved
