Coming on nicely!!

had a couple of days off so got a bit of 'garage time'!!

ive re-done the rear box lid since taking the photo, wasnt happy with how it sat and the gap between the vinyl had become a little too apparant as it cooled from being fitted.

since buying her ive got the engine running nicely, sorted out and tidied up the wiring, repaced speed sensor for the dash, changed fluids and filters, mounted the cone and engine cover, put the mesh in the cone and engine cover, replaced and messed about getting the rear box and lid to fir properly, mudflaps on the front, vinyl splash guards on rear wheel covers, fuel filler neck and cap, rear fog light, swapped wheels and prob more that i have forgotten about!!

Replacement battery and mount is on its way to me now thanks to Andy at AB Performance, after that i just need to sort out the cabin area!!

need to mount the seats properly, i want to make a new dash from plastic and carbon wrap it, have a new momo wheel to replace the small mountney one, need to sort the reverse lever for the quaife box and give it all a good clean!

the end is in sight!!

Looks real nice. Have you got any under bonnet shots? I would be intersting to see what it looks like compared to mine.

Cheers chaps!!

I'm certainly happier with it after getting a few days to 'play' on it!

Don't really have any recent pics of the engine bay, it's not as pristine as some I've seen, but it does what it's meant to!! I'll get some pics over the weekend once I've got the battery in place

I bought my car as a part finished project and I was told it was also a Mk Indy
But Mk said that there cars have always had the side panels that slope down were your arm goes when your sat in it ?????

My roll cage and wishbones look different to yours but Chasis looks the same ?????

the actual side panels are alloy, but the top dash part inc where it slopes down and meets the side panels are fibreglass
