power commander problems. Is vista compatible

I've got my retest sva retest tommorow, (only emmisions). I failed last time as the powercommander seemed to have no effect at all. It was then that I noticed that underneath the serial number displayed on the power commander control panel, it was showing device error 18 and if I then reset the commander, device error 17 appeared. I sent the power commander back to dynojet to be checked, and it was supposed to have had its firmware updated, I have just got back from trying it for the first time as I have only just got my replacement loom and ecu from malc (another story), and it's displaying device errors exactly the same. It then dawned on me maybe the commander is not compatible with vista, any ideas, time is not on my side.

Thanks l0c0st, but the device error is not on the R1 clocks it is on program that controls the power commander, thanks though.
