BEC rolling road in Suffolk/Essex/Norfolk

As title, I'm looking for a company that can do BEC rolling road and able to setup up power commander in either Suffolk, Essex or Norfolk.

Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced company.

You are welcome to pop over mine one saturday and it rig up the wide band and check over your map. I'm in Ipswich too and i've always fancied a ride in an MNR.

Pretty sure i've still got the power comander software on my laptop.

Will cost you a bacon sarny though!

That sounds like a plan, thanks for the offer. Let me know when would be suitable for you. I'm partial to a bacon sarny or two so no probs there.

The problem I have with it is the engine keeps going sick and will not idle. All was ok and then for no real reason I approached a junction and the engine stalled. This has happenend before but I thought I'd fixed it when I discovered my fuel filter wasn't allowing enough fuel through and causing the fuel pump to make strange noises. Today I disconnected the PC3 and all was ok, connected it back up and all seemed ok untill I got a couple of miles down the road when it went sick again. I disconnected the PC3 and it never happened again for the rest of the day.
The map I have in it is one I picked from the PC website so it is not really setup to my car.

Jonno, If you could have a word that would be good. would be good to try other maps other than the ones from the PC website.

Hows the car coming on?

Stu there is frost motorsport on hadleigh road industrial estate. Dont know if he does becs but might be worth an chat.

Also engine advantages in witham, they might do it. Or at least either of them will tell you your readings. Frost is 35 quid for 2 runs on the dyno. think EA is similar price.

Thanks Dan, I'll give them a call.

Fancy a drive out somewhere at the weekend? Is your car sorted now?

Frost should be ok but Engine Advantages have gone bust. About time too. If you google them you will find some of the horror stories!

Stuart, do you have a lambda bung in your exhaust? M18x1.5.

If not we could use the probe but it might have trouble getting round the bend on the end of your exhaust.

Give me a shout on 07886005962 and you can pop over on a sunny eve or sat morn.

Is it stalling at idle? We shold be able to check what afr the engine likes on idle by removing the PC3 and then adjust the new map to suit.

No I don't have a bung in the exhaust

Yes it stalls at idle, but only does it after it has been running/driven for a while. It was also spluttering and misfiring below 4k rpm.

I'll give you a call later
Cheers
Stu.
