Bike clocks on CEC

Looking for a digi dash and can't find anything that appeals. Want something simple without all the bells and whistles to distract me. I quite like an analogue tacho and digi speedo so a bike one would do nicely. I presume it wouldn't be too hard to wire one in with a few electrical components to make the signal imputs correct?

Also a modern high reving sportbike one would be no good because I'd only use the bottom third of the tacho. So maybe something off a big single supermoto or such.

Digital Speedos, or whatever they are called, has Kosos that rev less than the bikes. I saw them at Detling a few years ago.

I will see if I can find the links.

I would send a u2u to Russbost on this forum, he does loads of digi dash, and he used to offer a LCB discount. (got a few quid off mine) so maybe worth speaking to him.

He is the man for dashes if you want digi. Also offers good back up, and I am in no way associated with him or his business, just a good service so worth a mention.

THIS IS HIS WEBSITE

I'm kind of thinking something like this if it could be made to work -
ktm 690 lc4 smc smr duke speedo dash clocks
But I suspect running it on an inline 4 would confuse it?

Just to resurrect this thread...
Still liking the idea of the sportbike clocks - can't find anything else in my price range that appeals.

Do modern sportbike clocks get their signals from the ecu or direct from sensors. Would it be difficult to get them up and running with a few bits of basic electrickery to modify the signals. I'm using megasquirt btw and I have too much time on my hands (but out of the country and can't do more productive parts of my build...)

Modern bike clocks are tied into the ECU to get RPM, temperature, fault code information etc.
