Fair Price
Hi all,
What sort of price should i be looking at paying for a Tiger Cat E1 2004 2.0 Pinto engine with twin 45's. Less that 3,000 miles?
I have had a look at the classifieds all over the place but your input would be nice.
Cheers
D

Ball park would be 5 to 6k, but it will come down to lots of things about the car that appeal to you or not.
Purely from a cosmetic point of view there are a few things that will increase the price - Has it got carpets? Are the seats standard or the upgrades?
Is the dash nicely done? Are the harnesses better than others? Are the wheels what you want? Is there a spare wheel? Is it a good colour? Is the GRP
in good order?

Was that the one that was on ebay recently? (with anthracite front and rear wings?) If so, did look a nice car. Have you got any pics to put in your
archive yet?

Er...I would if the build had moved on! (but I've only just got her back in her new home after 10 months storage in a neighbours garage, while
we had an extension built.)
Still, I've got a much bigger garage now, with power and light so there should be no stopping me now! (Apart from money and trying to source
those elusive parts! - I can't believe finding a steering column shroud for reasonable money would be so difficult!)
Anyway, back to the topic in hand, I'd say a Cat with a Pinto would be in the region of £4k -£5.5k depending on age, spec, build quality etc.
and zetec power probably £5.k - £6.5k

I know, but at £35 plus p&p I think its a bit steep.
Anyway, I've just managed to get one from the local scrappy for a fiver. (These Sierras are like buses - nothing in the scrappies for weeks and
then two come along at once! )
