Temperature Gauge

Not sure if this sits in this section or engines, the temperature gauge has recently packed up on my Locost (1600 Xflow) can someone please let me know what area's to check.

The petrol gauge still works which is on the same unit.

First find the engine sensor and touch the wire to a good earth, the dial should show full deflection, if it does the gauge should be ok. if it doesn't then the guage or supply or sensor connecting wire is broken. Check the guage has power at it's terminal with the ignition on, if ok try putting an earth on the sensor terminal to see if it deflects, if not the guage is faulty.
