isn't a sink hole a natural phenomenon?
that looks mightily like a sewage access port without the man hole cover missing to me!
Or did the Guatamalan emergency services nip in there with some sewage pipes and some brickworks to shore up the "sink hole"

I didnt think a sinkhole would be such a perfect hole, especially through what looks like tile.
