Haynes Forum Update
Hi Guys
Just a quick update from Haynes. They now have the new forum software purchased. First they have to upgrade the main database and the version of php
on the server before they can install the new version of the forum software. hopefully it will be done soon and the forum will be back online minus
the spam.
I will update with any progress as soon as i am informed.
Anything With Tits or Wheels Will cost you MONEY!!

Thanks for the update Ash!
Great to hear Haynes are fixing the problem, I guess they could have quite easily saved themselves the cash and just pulled the plug!

just come off haynes forum seems it is back up, but still with spam

It's still the old version, they will be setting up the new version of the forum on a dummy site before they go live with it to get all the bugs
out of it.

Ive noticed fewer posts recently so it seems that some have been put off by the spam but theres no reason they shouldnt come back now. Even without a
software update the moderators have managed to ringfence the spammers posts into one part of the Forum where it can be easilly ignored and
doesn't interfere with anyone.
