Build up insurance ?

The investmant in the garage is now at a point I wouldnt want to loose. Its also no longer a secret with me reving the tits of the engine for an hour or more this morning

Has any one had build insurance and had to claim ?

Ive never had a good experiance with insurance companys and have always been shafted in the past.

So to sum up is it worth good money for and do they pay out if it comes to the worst ?

Your thoughts please

I covered mine with Footman James during the last year of the build.

Luckily I didn't have to claim, so can't comment from that point of view.

It wouldnt surprise me if build up insurance by some companies will only pay out of the car is driven away, you have all of the original OE supplied keys (about 6 in all), a tracker fitted and valid MOT Oh and of course that you can prove it is actually in the process of being built and not a legal road car

Seeing as 2gether are offering it it would probs be best to ask them what is covered etc.
