It's an American 're-imagining', so no I don't think so.

As a fan of the original the trailer isn't inspiring confidence that it will anything but ghastly.

Well that was pretty crap and a let down

I didn't see any ads for it, but have had the mrs reminding me that it was going to be on and was told the Sir Ian Mclellan was going to be in it so had high hopes for it

Didn't do anything for me apart from LOLing at Rover making an appearance at the end

Regards
Rob

and a proper intro sequence (like the way he goes under the barrier before it's up).

There is a sequence in one of the later episodes (5 or 6 IIRC) where he is in a car park and a Seven goes past in the back ground. If that helps at all.

It was entertaining but not as much as the original. My wife and watched both- have both series downloaded. I still prefered the original.

To be fair it wasn't at all bad, actually pretty good and surprisingly faithful to the original. Only real fault was the lead actor wasn't quite up to the job, Christopher Ecclestone or Damien Lewis would have been much better as 6.
