They said it was actually failure of the tub where the suspension mounts to it. Apparently Sebastian Bourdais caught some air during practice that
weakened it.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

The commentators were speculating on it affecting the other cars then realised the chassis is 4 seasons old so unlikely to see the others drop out
