Scrap Prices...

Having a clear-out...

I've a couple of damaged Formula Vauxhall Lotus chassis boards (aluminium honeycomb planks). They probably weight about 50kg between them.

Is it worth weighing them in at the scrappies (a 40 mile round trip), or do I just bin it at the local tip (a few miles down the road)?

I've also got two damaged Mag wheels... about 10kg between them.

What about alloy wheels, are they considered 'clean' alloy?
