Hi, scratch build 4 years, sva August 2009. Im now not happy with engine choice just to slow thinking of going bec or zetec 1.8 siver top,so
theres another year or two.
ARE THEY EVER FINISHED

was building a stylus for 4 years, still rolling chassis, so got fed up and sold it Bought a running car, after getting it imported to Belgium i had
exactly 1 week of fun then rain season begun
had whole lot of plans for the winter, ending in just adding different mirrors to it  several weeks of driving, then diff gone and that's how
it is now, hope to have it back in a few weeks resulting in 1 more week of fun and rain season again then
result: keep building as driving just ends up in building again

I reckon only 1% get finished then maybe hardly ever used anyway......buy one ready made and save yourself a lot of aggro
