Towbar fitters in the Ipswich area?

My tin-top needs a towbar, and I don't want to fit it myself (yes, I know...)

Can anyone recommend a good and reliable fitter in the South Suffolk/North Essex area? I'm looking for someone who can fit a decent brand such as Witter, and use the proper wiring harness (unlike Indespension, who hacked into the wiring on my old Yaris). Preferably at home, or while I wait at their place.

It's an 06 Ford Focus, so nothing rare or unusual...

How tough is the electric bit? I believe that it should be a plug-in job, but that statement could cover a world of pain...

Hi David

I used a tow bar relay, about £15, and an in line fuse holder, £1.25.

Power in on the left from the 12v socket.
Tow plug wires in the bottom.
Wires from the back of the lights in the top.
It even has a buzzer built in.

It all fitted in the first aid hatch of my Passat and doesn't interfere with the car electrics.

If I can do it anyone can.

Cheers

My Dad had his fitted by Jatex Cant find anything on the web about them but he fitted it at home when it was convienient and seemed to do a good job. He put a heavy duty Witter towbar on fitted twin electrics (for a caravan) and had to slightly cut a bit of the bumper away but its not visable it it was just over £250 for supply and fitting but it is a big towbar (4 ton-ish weight limit if I remeber correctly) and was on a hyundai santa fe. His number is 01473 658018

Thanks everyone - looks like there will be a few phone calls tomorrow!

I quite fancy a removable towbar - but the price frightens me... almost double the price of a fixed one!

I had a removable trailer.

One night some bar steward removed it.
