Alpina Detailed Pre Sale - I'll miss it!

Evening All

I picked up my Alpina B10 from my local detailer yesterday who has been busy preparing it for sale (to fund 9 months travelling.)

What do you think?

What shocks me is that there's a forum for car valeting

The car looks great, he missed a spot on the number plate though

Have to admit I don't put anywhere near that much effort into cleaning any of my cars, feel a bit guilty now

You didn't know about detailing world?! Then you need to check this out now!...

OCD detailing thread

It's... eye opening. And before you double check...

Yes, it is a brand new, white Vauxhall Astra, and not some classic/super car.
Yes, that is him buffing the boot hinges with a cotton bud.
Yes, he does apply 50-odd coats of some sort of car washing product after admitting anything after the 6th or 7th wasn't making any difference.
Yes, he does say he wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing there exists some unpainted, unpolished seam sealer burried somewhere under his carpet.

Still, he obviously enjoys it, so fair play to him. And at least he tuned the engine.

Alpina looks nice!

Liam

EDIT: Aaargghhh take me away from detailling world! FFS someone has detailed the engine bay of a company transit van! Thank god I can't see the pictures unless I register.

Hello Tim

Nice beemer I wish I could afford it......

I'm sorry but; I bet that car will never go to the ring, just as bad as putting one of those silly ring stickers on their cars when they haven't been and never will (not that I have been)

What's with the lap time on the cap!?!

Have a day off trigger!!

Eh? Oh does this relate to the other link? That would make more sense.
