a tale of a man with a 12 grand 4x4 jeep....cloned
Mate at work gets the heads up to collect a ford galaxy he wanted for his ever expanding family....
prepares to get cash insurance ect only phoned to be told that you will now have to wait a few weeks.......why he asks?
Well the neighbour who you bought it off has just had the police at his house who checked the galaxys replacement a jeep looked it over and seized
it.....12 grand down the pan,
turns out the jeep is a stolen cloned wagon and seller has gone to ground.....
pity the guy

Blake I was on the slow connection with a pc that is hanging. So i was typing and hoping all the key strokes registered.....seem some of the
punctuation went walkies....
Yep we had a a similar experiance just a few months ago .......but we didnt deal

I'm not saying this guy didn't, but always be careful with a private sale, Always have a landline phone number and make sure the person
selling it and the Adress you get it from are the same as the ones on the V5.

Not too long ago I was involved with an 08 plate Impreza....
Turned out the poor guy had bought it from a guy on Ebat for £14000 cash !
Met him on a motorway service station somewhere, didnt do the usual precautions.
His lovely new car he owned a full 24 hours till it was taken off him, £14000 lighter .
Dont suppose anyone here would do such a thing as buy like that, but shat happens
And the shat doing such deeds are plentiful !
