help needed to move car.

Hi all.

i desperately need help to move a renault espace from ellesmere port to pensby on the wirral. it has a 168 cm track and a 204cm wheelbase.

if anyone has a trailer and a car/van with a tow bar i have beer tokens waiting

the car runs (just about) but the gearbox is goosed

Got a Disco with towbar and an A-Frame in the boot. Also two ropes and a rigid bar

is it OK to tow a un MOT'd and sorned car with an A-frame? if so, your on

not sure but a local copper told me that it would be as long as it was NOT the driven wheels

BUT I DONT KNOW FOR SURE

It's being recovered to a garage for repair isn't it ?

And I've lost count of how many cars in various states of breakage (all un-T&T) I've
A-Framed to be weighed in. No problems yet !

I doubt it very much; otherwise why should 4x4 vehcicles be treated in a different way?
