tin top help please

Hi All,

I hope some one can help me, the wife's renault megan 04 has a problem. N/S electric window has gone down on its own, I striped door card and found motor has water in it, took to bits, cleaned dryed and put back, window went up. Just been outside and the n/s window is down again and now none of the windows or electric roof work! checked all fuses and all seem ok.

Any help appreciated.......

I suppose for now get it up and stick it in position (disconnect motor).

Maybe there's a relay been blown?

Think they are controlled by the ECU mine went daft when I removed it to check a fault - need to reset.

Disconnect and reconnect battery and try them again - although this can cause fun with your radio.

Problem solved, burnt out winow motor near side front, fried multi plug and fused together 2 wires that knocked out all other windows and roof. Seperated wires and insulated them and everything works fine. Had a lucky escape as burning motor had even scorched the glass and was mins away from fire. Luckily system is dead without ignition and swmbo has been useing my car.
