Boxford TUD Lathe for sale

For Sale due to purchase of larger lathe my Boxford TUD lathe.

4.5" swing i.e. up to 9" diameter can be turned.
18" long bed
5 speed
New Clarke 1hp single phase motor
3 jaw chuck
quick change toolpost
No power feed
Good condition
I used to make spigot bushes, truing tube, and making wheel spacers amongst hundreds of other things.

It weighs approx 250kg and dismantles easily, so I am told, making pick-up with an estate or hatchback possible.

I would prefer pick-up as I can't be bothered packaging it on a palette but if no better offer can be delivered on palette by Paisley Freight via a tail lift van for around £80 depending on your location.

£225 for quick sale

Goes on the bay Monday.

Cheers!

the Boxford range of lathes are wonderful for beginners, and as such many started life in schools and colleges. I have had two, both perfect for most small jobs, and a lot better than tin - machine mart style units.

If I needed another one, I would be on my way to get it already,.. bargain.

I'm so tempted but really don't know when i'd be able to collect (driving to Scotland isn't the issues - having the day to do it sadly is). How soon would you wanted it shifting?
