Saw this other day, front doesn't appear to dive much when slamming on brakes trying to stop, gives bikers a bad name, think if I was there I would check he was ok first then called him a knob

Target fixation.

He saw where he was going to end up and duly ended up there. Had loads of time to avoid that.

Very poor motorcyclist, I hope he takes some advanced riding lessons before he ends up under the lorry wheels next time

Yes, the possibility that he was a D1ck was confirmed by him putting the video on YouTube, and removing all doubt

Is it just me, or can you hear him lock up a wheel just before he hits the truck? I don't understand why he didn't bail out on the left hand side, could have probably stayed upright if he'd run it up the grass banking?

I watched it without sound, and got the impression that he expected to be able to make the gap? If that wasn't the case, he really shouldn't be on a bike if he can't see two stationary trucks in front of him.

+1 (Yes im a biker too).

He locks his rear wheel up which does nothing to slow a bike down. Thats why his handlebars seem to weave. With correct braking (and looking where he was going in the first place), he could easily have avoided that. You see him fiddle with his visor just before the incident.

Tw@t.

Kindest Regards,

It wasn't exactly a huge bike either, judging by the size of the gap a Gold Wing would have squeezed through.
Perhaps he wasn't fiddling with his visor, but covering his eyes?

That wasn't a small gap, just think he came up too quickly and panicked

I don't trust these voice activated controls - should have used a better trigger word ! I reckon he was describing his body function.

Reminds me of the press presentation of Volvo's anti collision system -
