I thought it was quite amusing personally! Does make it quite obvious however that all the politicians "appearances" are completely set-up and pre-organised!

That's the thing, we didn't vote him in! But, we can vote him out!

Now that is a properly bad day.

He didn't do anything that we don't all do everyday, but its going to lose him the election.

it was funny watching on the telly bbc and sky news fighting over her in the street to ask their questions and to try and stop from walking away and force feeding her to demand an apology from gordon brown. Also seeing gordons reaction in the radio studio was interesting.

Obviously he only shows his true colours when he thinks no-one is listening.

The man is a complete Charlatan and as said above he was never elected.

If he gets back in because of people voting for 'butter wouldn't melt in the mouth' Puritanical Clegg - who forgot to mention that he made himself a small fortune selling a house which in Strasbourg which he bought by receiving £250 per DAY!!!! subsistence allowance when he was a euro MP..... I will leave this country if I can get out.

He just can't be allowed back in

Waiting to see how the 'Laborites' try and spin out of this one!!!

reminds me of when the old dear flustered maggie somthing about the falklands war incident for giving the go ahead to launch attack on a argie ship that was leaving the 'Disputed controll waters' was it on qestion time ?

suspect that going to be a huge nail in his coffin !!! and give gravitas to the labour MPs wanting to oust him

Dear Gordon you have cheered me up

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Well hopefully that'll make sure he doesn't stay in 'power' - gibbering dunderhead. The media are going to tear him to bits.

I wonder who'll be next?

As I said earlier, it'll make no difference cos those that voted for him will swallow his grovelling apology (like the woman he referred to) and all will be fine and dandy.

I'm afraid that I think that is the attaitude of all politicians to all voters. They are a means to an end.

Ban the big three parties I say.

Haha, I was havig a discussion with a friend a couple of days ago about politics in general, his argument was that politicians are there as representatives of the people, my argument was that he was right about the basic principle but that anyone seeking power is unsuitable to hold it, all politicians are there to serve themselves rather than the people they represent.

I think Gordy just proved me right, as above, voters are merely the means to an end; to stay in power!

They were never getting my vote in the first place, but still... I think it is plain wrong that they chose to broadcast a private exchange like they did!

Yes, he should have remembered he was linked up, but come-on... so he expressed an opinion on an individual whilst chatting in private - what the hell does that have to do with the colour of oranges in Saigon!

Er, in case you hadn't noticed this man is trying to win an election, and seeing his true colours is something we are entitled to.

He (who I pay for) was being driven around by someone who I've paid for, in a car I've paid for and was overheard on a mike that I've paid for, held by someone else I paid for (assumed bbc) so I want to know everything that he does - especially if it makes him look a prat!

Some goes for all future civil servants - who I pay for!

calling someone a bigot isnt an insult if its true. Ive not heard the exchange between them, but would it make any difference if he was actually right and she was bigoted? Or would you hang him for calling a spade a spade?

"... calling a spade a spade..."

Now thats not biggoted. It's plain racist!

I agree though, it all depends wether the woman is a biggot. Given the average UK citizen ranting about immigration then the law of averages is on his side.

Nope... nothing 'bigoted' on that interview.

That said, I still think the TV company have overstepped the mark in broadcasting the conversation that followed.

Quite a day, or a spectacularly cynical attempt to deflect the media onto a different story.

It was broadcast to all the TV companies. The man is simply too stupid to be running a country.
