spare tyre and IVA
I read in the recent VOSA newsletter that there is a requirement under IVA for a temporary Tyre to be fitted- is this correct?

No, but if you do have a temporary spare (narrow) there are some special requirements.

Most tintops dont have a spare now, just a can of gel stuff. They would struggle to say you have to have a spare for IVA.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I passed IVA on the 27th may with no spare
and no mention of one

Whether it is different for IVA I don't know, but mine passed SVA without one, although I now carry a gel areosol thingy. Barry
