Bit of forced progress

I have been a bit slack this year with the kit car having started a new job on less money and spending my free time and money on my Golf cabby and an engagement ring. So I havent really touched it since before xmas last year apart from taking the engine out to sell when times got tough.

Anyway, since proposing to my girlfriend its meant the house has become a home, not a warm area to keep my car parts to its been time to move them into the garage so while I was out there I decided to fit them to the car and make a bit of progress. Also bought some Avo's for it as i got a cracking deal.

Will soon have it rolling i think

A NEC?

The colour looks so much better than I'd have pictured in my head if you told me 'I have a purple Indy'

No, unfortunately no engine . It had to go at the time though. Currently keeping my eye out for one though. Just working with what i currently have lying around but not fitted yet to keep spending to a min so i can pick up some bargain bits as and when i see them. I love the colour of it. Just cant wait to get it done again now.

I was the first person to have that colour, i described it as "horrible purple" on the order form at MK. It is cool though, especially when broken up with some black parts.

Ah the one thats on pistonheads. I was pretty gutted when I saw that as I was hoping to be a bit unique but to be honest. It looks absolutley awesome! Got it as my desk top at work!

Well after realising i best get a move on to finish it before april I have been on a mission to collect the bits i need to finish the car off.

Picked up a set of westfield headlights

and some mnr seats

Also managed to pick up another complete megablade conversion just like the one I sold so got everything I need apart from the exhaust can for £650. Will get some pics of it up soon.

I have now got the rolling gear completed so its time to have the tyres put on my wheels and drop it to the ground this weekend.
