rear axle

Has anybody used a rear axle from a MK2 cortina, or does anybody know the differance in width from the escort,

not used a cortina but i used a capri 1600 looks better than an escort as it fills the w/archs more

They'll both be about 4 inches wider than Escort

ok thx, ive nearly done the chassis, its based on the book, im going to use a xflow, so is it ok, to use a crapri :0 instead of the escort then?? cheers

Cortina or Capri axle, whichever.

I was gonna use book chassis and Capri axle until my major rethink.

Both should be fine and as Bass said, will fill out the arches more with book chassis.

Go for it, can't see a problem.
