REQUIRED FOR THE SVA?
Are reversing lights or headrests required to pass the SVA on a locost?......Martin

reverse lights if there must work, but u dont need them,
headrests im not sure on, wouldnt think so,

Are you saying then if you have a reverse box you dont need a reverse light to pass the sva

Yes there is no requirement for a reversing light for either SVA or MOT. They are in section 9.2 optional lamps in the SVA manual. (white, max of
two, e-marked, pointing to the rear if you have it/them).
However having one is a good idea IMO, as it reduces the chance of someone crashing into you.

Unless it's different for a 7 then you don't need headrests. We put a cobra through sva about 3 years ago with low backed seats and no
headrest in sight.
