Sprint today at Kames
No - I wasn't competing.....
I thought it would be nice to go down and see what Kames was like - never been before.
There was everything from minis up to slicks and wings single seaters. Somewhere in the middle were a smattering of westfields - bike and car engines
- and one locost, a Stuart Taylor Locoblade.
If I'm not mistaken, the locoblade was the the fastest of the '7's and it was definitely faster than some of the single seaters.
Awesome pace and very very nimble as well.
Another car that was very well placed was an autotune gemini with a xflow. I'm more convinced than ever that I honestly wouldn't know what
to do with a bike engine - more performance than I could use.
I would heartily reccomend Kames for seeing how good and chuckable your locost really is - cars of this type really did well today, and I know it has
been mooted on here already - get a bunch of cars together and let's get them onto the track.
Must go - the switch wire just broke off my starter solenoid :-(
