There are some mutterings of discontent, and hints of more "action" to bitch about the cost of petrol. The simple fact is Joe public in
this country is getting screwed by not only our current political masters, but have been shafted by previous governments too, not only with
"hidden"
taxes on petrol (direct or indirect). But on a variety of other goods/services as well. Everyone bitches and applauds, then when YOU dont have any
petrol in your car/bike, or yer granny cant get to hospital for her 2 year overdue hip replacement everyone caves in and allows the tossers
controlling this country to walk all over you. (In my stride standing on soap-box) VAT bold as hell, not hidden, no one bitches about it. How many
times should u have to pay tax on goods. How many MP's do we need.
MP's, MEP, Scottish MP Welsh MP oh and stuff it we will be different in Northern Ireland, we cannot trust them to be adults and control their
own destiny. Oh and while were on the subject, WAGE RISES I fancy a wage rise, (no chance) but first thing any of these twats do when they are voted
in, you betcha lets talk/vote on how much were worth while we shaft everyone else. Damn nerve, who moans NO-ONE. Poll Tax/ Council Tax, wouldnt mind
paying it If I thought I was getting good quality service from our local Council. Are we??? What do u think  My local councillor is a class one

Great Britain, dont make me laugh, until some bolshie people stand up to be counted in this country, or tell our elected officials to take it and
shove it where the sun dont shine, we the meek will inherit
more taxation, more lying bastards bullshitting us on weapons of mass destruction, (ask the family of some of our dead servicemen if they think it was
worth it). And more tossers and jobsworth telling me how to lead MY life, in OUR community.

I enjoyed your rant Shug, I had a not-too-dissimilar one recently when on my post-Grad course and was surrounded by a bunch of

on my local radio station they are talking about the government making contingency plans.
these include
lowering speed limits
banning driving of cars outright
lowering public transport fares
what the fooking hell!!!!!
how long does the govenrment think they are gonna last if no one can travel or get to work, and why reduce fares if thats the only way to
travel!!!!!!!
I was 14 when ted heath was fooked by the 3 day week. If blair gets himself into a car banning situation, hes' gonna be so politically dead.
remeber with the euro elections, you have a protest vote...... your bananas and stuff is gonna get regulated by some belgian anyway, so its not much
of a waste and it might get the government to wake up.

don't talk to me about euro elections.
i'm not going to be eligable to vote cos the council still haven't sent the bloody electoral role forms through. i moved over 2 months
ago.
