Ouch...
Useless fact : my girlfriend's sister lives just round the corner from the Ferrari/Maserati place in Egham. Its always a bit distracting
approaching the roundabout as my eyes often divert to the right

Maybe he won't be able to sue, if he worked for the council then it could be argued that either he had insider knowledge of the pot hole, or
maybe he put it there or he was negligent for not reporting it to his superiors ('superiors' is used without predjudice or
implication).
He was probably a hard done by bin man..
