ie if the speed limit is 70mph u can do 70+10% or something

the association of cheif police officers have a set of rules that they dont necessarily follow.
its 10% plus 2 mph

a car speedo should NEVER read under, but can be over by quite a lot (20%????).
some speed cams, if not making enough money, can be set to lower limits.
laser vans are accurate to 1mph at 1000 metres.

I had a bit of a fright last night. 11.45pm, on way home after xmas shopping in london, girlie following in her car, 105mph, over a brow of hill,
brakes on very hard, mr plod in a nice volvo estate! i drove past at 75mphish (thank you mr gusterson for the mph list) praying his lights
wouldn't go on, and they didn't.
very relieved!

i was on the mway the other day, everyone was doing exactly 70mph past a dog van of all things. so i just blended past at 80 anyway, as if a dog
handler cares if you roll past...! bloody paranoid buggers!

I hate people like that, think a dog handler or ambulance is about to stop you and do you for doing 80
