show photo in post

i have a photo in my photo archive, how do i show it in a post??? sorry if this has been covered before, im not very good with forums!!!

In the create / reply to a post page there is a row of icons (square boxes) on the "formatting mode" line. The 7th one in, has a black > next to a yellow picture. Click that and it opens up a new window. Type or paste the location of your image in there (i.e. where it is hosted).


[img] http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/170120093591.jpg [/img] (It will be like this but without the spaces between the ] and http and .jpg and [ )

Or type [img] before the address and [/img] after the address.

However, your photo is masssssiiiiiivvvveee, so we normally resize them before uploading them to the archive. If you are using Microsoft XP open "my pictures" right click and "resize pictures" is about the 5th option down. Select 640 x 480 small.
