Sevens in Spain

Hi everyone,

I will be moving to Spain from the US to live for a few years and was
wondering what it would take to bring my Seven. I am definitely not getting
rid of it so it's a question of whether I store it or bring it with me.
Does anybody have experience with shipping to and registering in Spain?

I don't look forward to being Seven-less so I hope some of you can help.
;-)

Regards,

John

Hi,

I have recently moved from the UK to Spain, broght my Locost with me, now going through the proccess of registering it so I'm now familiar with everything involved in the process. I've not had time to go through the whole process yet but it looks cheap and promising, basically as you are changing residence you don't need to go through approval which is great news. Let me know whereabouts you will be moving to, some things need to be done in Madrid where I live. The other thing would be getting insurance for it, the government has some insurance service to insure vehicles no other insurer would take but I've not tried them yet. Everything looks do-able but there are virtually no kit cars here so surprises may arise.

If you speak Spanish, I put some info on my web space. It would be great if you bring it here, especially if you are moving to Madrid, I'm starting to feel lonely with my Locost!

Any questions please ask, the theory is it can be done quite easily.
