L200 main fuse blows

Hi

I've just changed the alternator on a 54 reg Mitsubishi L200. During a few diagnostic tests I managed to blow the main 80amp fuse ( forgot to disconnect battery after tests) . replaced everything needed and now the main fuse has blown and there is no permanent live to clock etc from battery? . Any thoughts

Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

Thanks

Moss

This is probably a word of warning.

We collected an RTX alternator and fuse from Eurocar Parts. On taking one look at the quality of the casting on it a bit of googling confirmed our fears. DO NOT fit they are crap.

On closer inspection of the fuse it is totally crap as well and probably the wrong fuse with the wrong cap on it. Fitted quality parts and its ok.

Beware of the quality of parts from Eurocar Parts

Euro Car Parts often stock a range of different quality items for the same fitment, and almost without exception the budget stuff is of poor quality. That's if you even get the correct parts to start with of course, which is something of a lottery in my experience.

Then again GSF can be just as bad.
